Dreaming of long summer days in a Hamptons home? Me, too 💭 And if you inherited this summer home from your elegant grandmother like Aerin Lauder, you would want summer to last forever. Her beloved grandmother Estée Lauder, bequeathed an unerring visual sense, an entrepreneurial spirit and a profound love of home and family. These 1930s Greek Revival interiors were famously conceived by legendary decorator Mark Hampton. A blue-and-white scheme decorates the whole home and to incorporate it to @aerin’s more contemporary taste, clean-lined sofas and chairs covered in both white and richly colored, crisp linens were introduced. Traditional meets contemporary with effortless grace in @paulbatesarchitects’ charming Birmingham cottage, and I can't get enough! The stunning living room boasts high ceilings, ample natural light, and a calming color palette that invites relaxation. The space is tastefully decorated with a mix of vintage and modern furnishings, including striking abstract artwork that draws the eye and an Italian articulating mobile chandelier. The kitchen is a chef's dream with brass hardware, a spacious island, and bronze countertops. The home's exterior is just as impressive, with beautiful landscaping and a cozy patio perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening cocktail.
