This new-construction High Alpine Retreat in Victory Ranch, Utah is a European-inspired luxury mountain home featuring highly detailed interiors, architectural salvage, and bespoke millwork. Designed as a legacy compound, the residence includes a 3-story cherry Library tower, fireplaces made in France and Spain, Utah’s first imported European wood-burning stove, an Orient Express–inspired Bar, an English Teahouse, and a private Chapel. Its meandering layout and richly layered craftsmanship reflect a fresh, traditional aesthetic the clients requested.
Kind words from the client:
“We wanted a designer that could deliver our vision of a European style mountain chateau, not a version of the more typical Utah mountain or modern designed home. She exceeded our expectations- indeed she exceeded our hopes for the house. She showed flexibility to meet her aesthetic standards while being mindful of our budget. Her knowledge and connections were essential for a wide range of “value engineering“ that we asked for over the 3 year build.
Her positive attitude and unflappability allowed her to seamlessly integrate into the team. Both the architect and the builder have told me she is wonderful to work with – something they rarely say about designers. She always made the discussion about what we wanted/needed – never about her, a trait rare in someone of her talent.”
